The "Visit Enterprises and Expand Job Opportunities for Promoting Employment" Special Action of the College of Life and Marine Sciences: Visiting Suzhou Biomedical Industrial Park
To deepen the cooperation between the university and enterprises, broaden students' professional horizons, and promote high-quality employment, the College of Life and Marine Sciences organized a special visit and research exchange activity on April 16th, going to the Suzhou Biomedical Industrial Park for investigation and communication. The vice dean of the college, Lou Sulin, the deputy director of the Biology Science Department, Xiao Shifeng, Liu Guobao, and the employment special counselor, Zhang Jiaye, participated in this activity. Vice President Chen Mengmeng of Suzhou Industrial Park Biotechnology Industry Development Co., Ltd., Human Resources Director Chen Dan, and Industry-University-Research Cooperation Director Gao Tianyi attended and received them. The Suzhou Biomedical Industrial Park is a key high-tech industrial platform established by the Suzhou Industrial Park. It focuses on core areas such as innovative drugs, high-end medical devices, and big health, and has also made forward-looking arrangements in cutting-edge fields like cell and gene technology, nucleic acid drugs, and synthetic biology. Currently, the park has over 620 biomedicine high-tech enterprises in residence, and plans to build a total area of nearly 3.5 million square meters for the platform, creating an industrial agglomeration effect. During the event, Gao Tianyi, the person in charge of industry-university-research cooperation in the park, led the college teachers to visit the exhibition hall and gave a detailed introduction to the park's development history, construction achievements, key enterprises and representative products.


During the symposium, Vice President Chen Mengmeng welcomed the college delegation and emphasized that the park has long maintained close cooperation with universities and research institutions, expressing expectations to further deepen industry-university-research linkage with Shenzhen University. Gao Tianyi focused on introducing the park's industrial advantages, scientific research achievement transformation, and talent incentive mechanisms; Chen Dan interpreted the talent needs of enterprises, graduate employment policies, and welfare guarantees. Dean Lou Sulin expressed gratitude for the park's reception and elaborated on the college's student source structure, talent training model, and employment intentions. The two sides reached preliminary intentions on cooperation such as targeted recruitment.



This visit has laid the foundation for the in-depth cooperation between the College and Suzhou Biomedical Industrial Park, and effectively expanded the employment channels for graduates. In the next step, the College will continue to advance the special campaign of "Visiting Enterprises to Expand Job Opportunities and Promote Employment", deepen the docking of school-enterprise resources, and help students achieve more sufficient and higher-quality employment.
